Evenings drop into the 50s even in summer, and from October through April the combination of cold air and warm water is one of the better simple pleasures available. Are the hot tubs heated on arrival?
Yes — hot tubs are brought to temperature before your arrival and are ready to use when you check in. Standard temperature is 102°F. If you have a preference for a different temperature, let your hosts know the day before.
Are hot tubs cleaned between stays?
Yes. Hot tubs are drained, scrubbed, refilled, and chemically balanced between every guest stay. A full chemical test is performed before the water is certified ready.
Is there a time restriction on hot tub use?
There's no hard cutoff, but we ask guests to be mindful of quiet hours (10 PM at most properties) if there are neighboring cabins nearby. Solo properties with full privacy have no practical restrictions.
Can children use the hot tubs?
Children under 12 should use hot tubs only under direct adult supervision, and extended soaking at high temperatures isn't recommended for young children. Many families keep the temperature lower when kids will be using the tub.
